RidePlan – Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using any part of the RidePlan platform, including the RidePlan App and/or the RidePlan Business App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use RidePlan App or the RidePlan Business App. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
All users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any actions taken under your account.
RidePlan reserves the right to approve or reject registrations. Businesses must complete a verification process before gaining full access to features.
4. Use of the Platform
4.1 For RidePlan App (Riders)
The RidePlan App provides tools to plan motorcycle trips, join group rides, and explore ride communities. It is your responsibility to ensure that any itineraries you plan comply with all road traffic laws and safety standards.
RidePlan advocates safe and responsible motorcycle riding. When planning routes, allow time for travel and unexpected events. Always follow applicable road laws.
4.2 For RidePlan Businesses
The RidePlan Business App allows verified businesses to manage profiles, create events, and publish offers visible to the RidePlan App community.
Businesses are fully responsible for:
The accuracy and legality of published events or offers.
Ensuring events are responsibly organised.
Complying with local laws and safety obligations.
RidePlan does not organise, control, or endorse any specific business event or offer unless expressly agreed in writing. We are not liable for the conduct, quality, or outcomes of any business-managed activity.
5. Content Rules and Community Conduct
Users must not:
Upload or link to content that is unrelated to motorcycle activity.
Post or promote offensive, defamatory, illegal, or misleading content.
Share media or links in breach of the Online Safety Act 2023.
Attempt to impersonate another individual or business.
Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users.
Complaints of misconduct or breaches of these rules will be reviewed. RidePlan reserves the right to suspend or ban any user or business without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
Users may submit content to the platform, including but not limited to ride routes, event information, business descriptions, or profile details. By submitting such content, users grant RidePlan a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and adapt the content as part of the RidePlan platform and services.
This licence allows RidePlan to display user-submitted routes, events, or business content to other users and promote RidePlan’s services. Users agree that they are not entitled to compensation and that RidePlan is not required to provide attribution.
7. Subscriptions, Fees, and Refunds
RidePlan App may offer paid subscriptions that provide access to RidePlan App, certain features, or services. All payments are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
RidePlan reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, terms, or available features at any time. Changes will apply to new or renewal subscriptions only.
If your account is suspended or terminated due to a breach of these Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund or credit.
8. Termination of Use
You may stop using RidePlan at any time by deleting your account.
RidePlan reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate access to any account that breaches these Terms. Termination may occur without prior notice.
If your account is deleted, suspended, or terminated during an active subscription period, no full or partial (pro-rata) refund will be issued.
9. Limitation of Liability
RidePlan provides its services on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, or error-free functionality.
We are not liable for:
Any injury, loss, or damage arising from ride execution.
Business event quality or experience.
Data loss, account misuse, or third-party actions.
Your use of RidePlan is at your own risk.
10. Privacy
RidePlan is committed to protecting your personal information and complying with applicable UK Data Protection legislation.
We follow the principle of data minimisation and only collect and store the minimum personally identifiable information (PII) required to provide the service. This includes your first name, surname, and email address.
All user data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your information is collected, stored, and used. By using RidePlan, you consent to the processing of your information as described in that policy.
